Here’s what’s happening around town for the week of Nov. 9-15.

The Friends of the Library Book Sale will be Nov. 13 and Nov. 15 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day.

The sale will feature best-selling novels, histories, biographies, cookbooks, children's books, sports books, self-help books and audio books.

The sale will be at the Columbus-Lowndes Public Library at 314 N. 7th Street.

The New Agrarians will be in concert on Nov. 14, at 7 p.m.

Kate Campbell, Pierce Pettis and Tom Kimmel will be performing.

“It will be an impressive royalty of Southern songwriters and musicians. They will share music and stories steeped in the culture and history of the South,” said Beverly Norris, programs director for the Columbus-Lowndes Conventions and Visitors Bureau.

The concert will be at the Columbus Arts Council at 501 Main Street 39701.

The Craft Beer Dinner Pairing will be on Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m.

Join in at Thai by Thai Restaurant for a delightful selection of Thai specialties, paired with wonderful craft beers from Schlafly Beer of St. Louis.

A four-course menu will be offered with each course being paired with a carefully selected craft beer. The price is $40 per person.
